2010 Camp Theme

 

 

The 2010 camp theme,"Go The Distance", is based on II Timothy 4:6-8. The curriculum will take a look at the life of Paul and how he was able to Go The Distance in his life.

The daily themes tell us that in order to "Go The Distance" you must:

  • Be Willing To Change
  • Endure Hardships
  • Know how to Renew Your Strength
  • Know you can't Do It Alone
  • Know Where The Finish Line Is

Throughout the United States today, summer day camps and especially sports camps have become a main stay of summer activity for children. Churches across America have begun to realize that this phenomenon can become a part of their summer activity for their church and be very effective as an outreach tool.

Utilizing a strong sports oriented Bible and Music curriculum along with a high quality Sports curriculum in soccer, basketball and cheerleading, churches using UW assets find that they are affecting their communities for Christ in a new and relevant way.
